Are digestive symptoms quietly shaping your day? I can help.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Skipping meals and avoiding social occasions? Know every toilet stop on the M5? Living with digestive symptoms can be exhausting, and conflicting advice about what you should and shouldn’t eat can lead to confusion, frustration and restricting more foods than you need to.Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
Living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis can make food feel complicated. Fluctuating inflammation, surgeries and strictures can mean your nutritional needs, and what you’re able to eat, change over time. Add in the conflicting information found online and eating can suddenly feel like hard work rather than something to enjoy. I can help you navigate these changes, meet your nutritional needs and avoid unnecessary restriction. Coeliac Disease
A diagnosis of coeliac disease can feel overwhelming — suddenly you’re checking every food label, worrying about cross-contamination and wondering whether eating out will ever be straightforward again. I can help you confidently navigate a strict gluten-free diet while making sure it remains balanced, varied and full of foods you can enjoy. Liver and Pancreatic Disease
I have experience in supporting individuals through liver and pancreatic disease. From fibrotic changes through to cirrhosis, I can support you in understanding your liver disease and any evolving nutritional needs. I also provide clear, practical guidance for managing pancreatic enzyme insufficiency, helping you get the best results from your enzyme replacement therapy.Gut Health Optimisation
Your gut does much more than digest food. Research continues to show that a healthy and diverse gut microbiome plays an important role in many aspects of health, including digestion, immune function and overall wellbeing. With so much information available online, it can be difficult to know what advice to follow. I can help you understand the science around gut health and find simple, enjoyable ways to increase gut diversity that fit naturally into everyday life. Meet Raina
(MSc Dietetics, BSc Nutritional Sciences)
I'm a HCPC-registered Specialist Gastroenterology Dietitian, based in Cheltenham, with over a decade of clinical experience. My work is grounded in the latest research and shaped by years of helping people find practical and sustainable ways to improve their digestive health and overall wellbeing.
Food is meant to be enjoyed. It's how we celebrate, connect with others and create memories. Living with a digestive or long-term health condition can make food feel complicated, especially when you’re faced with conflicting nutrition advice and suddenly social events can feel too overwhelming. My goal is to help you understand your condition, feel confident in your food choices and improve your health without unnecessary restriction.
My approach is practical, compassionate and evidence-based, focusing on realistic changes that fit your lifestyle and your goals. Alongside my specialist work in gastroenterology, I have a particular interest in women's health and sports nutrition, which helps me take a broader view of your nutritional needs and how they fit with your overall health and lifestyle.
Because food should support life, not limit it.
